My favorite essential oil of all. I like the smell, you can feel really relax. French Lavender smells better than English Lavender (commercial grade) but Certified Organic French Lavender even smells much better. The English lavender smell is not as good because it contains more camphor. Some farms like to grow English Lavender because it easy to grow & can have lots of flowers (mean can distil more essential oil) French Lavender grow well over 1000 meters from sea level. English grow well between 300-900 meters from sea level.
Lavender is a tough plants, can tolerate to hard climate, hot or cold it's still ok. Lavender likes soil that easy to drain and loves soil with lots of lime.
You can use lavender like first aids. When insect bite you or you skin is itchy you can apply lavender directly to you skin and it will help to ease the pain. Put a few drop on water for burner a night time before bed time will help you to relax and sleep well. Put a few drops in Sweet almond oil & use as a massage oil for relaxation. You also and use lavender mix with sweet almond oil put in hot bath and enjoy relaxing time.
